OpenAI has developed a specialized AI model, GPT-4b micro, in partnership with longevity startup Retro Biosciences. The model, trained on protein sequences and biological data, successfully redesigned variants of the Yamanaka factors—proteins critical for converting adult cells into stem cells. Lab tests showed a 50-fold increase in efficiency, marking a significant leap for regenerative medicine.
